Three months had passed and the new love birds had chosen a nice place to meet. Once they got to the restaurant at D-Blings, Mary sighted her ex sitting across them. He looked good in a native attire and a cap. He looked good but that still did not mean he was her type. His head was dug into the menu when she walked up to him.

“Hi, Andrew.”

“Oh my God! Oh my God! Mary.” He called her name calmly, smiling and without an iota of anger, he got up and hugged her closely like he held no grudges. Mary was surprised but she hugged him back.

“How have you been?” He asked her.

“Good, you?”

“Great. I am fine.”

“I am here with my fiancé.” She told him and pointed at Wisdom.

“Him?” Andrew’s eyes widened in shock, but rather than saying too much, he smiled and waved it off.

“Yes, him.” She parched back and adjusted her hair to the back.

“Wishing you the best of luck.” He told her and sat back.

“Thanks. Good night.” She told him and began to walk back to her now boiling man.

A young fair lady walked in. She looked very rich. Her voice rang like she had heard it from somewhere. She was Alicia Hey, the famous Hip Hop singer. Then she saw the hefty bouncers, they were there, just outside. Once she walked in a lot of people walked up to her to take pictures and all. The place was very expensive, it only had very few people coming to eat. She busses it was the reason she chose the place.

The lady landed a kiss on Andrew’s cheek. The man had this comportment she had never seen any man have and around him was this finesse.

“Nobody money no fit change oo. So, Andrew landed himself a babe from the industry.” She told Wisdom as she sat down in front of him. She had not noticed he was wearing a frown and looking like he was going to strangle her. He got up and excused himself without listening to anything she had to say.

“Babe, babe. Wisdom, Wisdom…” she got up and ran after him.

“Wisdom, I am talking to you!” She yelled behind him once they were outside the eatery. “What is your problem?” She yelled.

“Babe, I am sorry, but you all over him in there and you abandoned me to chat with him.” He told her.

“Wait, did you just say sorry?” She asked in a soft tone. She was dumbfounded. Wisdom just apologized to her for the first time ever. She stood there looking at him in bare shock. He took a step closer and kissed her softly on the forehead.

“I love you baby, but please, stop doing the things I hate.” He told her and held her back inside the eatery. Mary sighed, the man had really changed. She sighted Andrew’s eyes on them as they entered and felt even more proud than ever.

“Would you sleep over at my place tonight. I promise you nothing is going to happen.” He told her. She remembered he had just warned her not to do things he hated. Wisdom hated anyone disagreeing with him, she knew better than to say an outright no. She nodded her head in agreement. She wasn’t comfortable with it but, saying yes was a better choice than a public disgrace in front of Andrew and his celebrity girlfriend.

“I love you babe.” He told her and she smiled back.

“I love you too, Wisdom.” She told him and buried her head in the menu still smiling.
