Love synch

Like a glow at night in the savannah, Milcah was clear. Benedo saw her and knew she was all he wanted. He paused, took a deep breath before striding towards her. She smiled at her friend Binta and Benedo’s heart almost stopped. Why was she so beautiful? Who exactly was she and where did she come from.

He was a prince, an African prince. He was a figure of strength and boldness, a warrior who had fought a lot of wars and won whether it was within the confines of Ogibu or outside it, His guards matched behind him, but he signaled them to stop. He wanted to do this all by himself. Benedo noticed his body weaken with each step he took closer to the ravishing ebony beauty he had just sighted. She reminded him of a Pantheress, her dark skin made him think of silk and milk all at once. The only problem was that he was a chronic stutterer so whatever he said didn’t sound serious enough; at least not to the majority around him.

He moved too close and the girls stopped. Binta smiled but not Milcah, the one he liked. he smiled back at Binta and looked at Milcah with intensity. It scared her and he noticed.

“So…so…sorry. Mmm…m…my name is Be…Bene…Benedo, Prin…Princ…Prince or…or…of Ogibu. I li…lik…like you, you, you alot. Can we…we…we, we be friends?” he told Milcha staring directly into her eyes.

Milcha couldn’t hold her laughter, she laughed so hard and nodded back her head as she did.

“Is…is…that…that, that a yes?” He asked again. She looked at him, nodded and smiled.

“Sorry, my friend can’t speak.”

Benedo looked at the two friends and laughed out loud. He was happy, happy he finally found a woman who never judge him for being a stutterer.
